Will this bumper fit my Silverado/Sierra 1500?

No. While the bumper may appear similar, the Silverado 1500 and Sierra 1500 require a different bumper.

What makes the AEV bumper that much better than other aftermarket rear bumpers?: Simply put, this isn’t an aftermarket rear bumper. This is an off-road bumper, designed for an OEM application (Silverado HD ZR2 Bison and Sierra HD AT4X AEV Edition) so everything about the bumper—the design, the engineering, the materials, the manufacturing, the coatings and the testing where all done to meet GM requirements. There is no other bumper on the market that can make these claims.
I don’t see any openings in the bumper, so how do I add lights?: The AEV Rear Bumper has two plastic panels that are removed for a pair of 3” square LED auxiliary lights to be mounted securely behind the rear bumper. This requires AEV’s Auxiliary Light Mounting Kit and a pair of 3” square LED lights, both sold separately.
Are the recovery points the real deal or just for show?: These are the real deal! We make sure all our recovery points are chassis mounted and meet or exceed the OEM load specifications.
What type of coating does AEV use?: The rear bumpers are e-coated and powder coated in textured black, and the base material is galvanized for superior corrosion protection. The AEV Rear Bumper passes all GM corrosion requirements.
Where is the AEV Rear Bumper manufactured?: The AEV Rear Bumper is made in Canada, using domestically manufactured stampings.
