•INTERNET ORDERING
Selected price and Product Catalogs are available at http://www.CrateEngineDepot.com . Credit cards may be used, per our Terms and  Credit Policy. We reserve the right to refuse an order for any reason.

 

•PRICES
Please note that all the prices are subject to availability and are subject to change without notice. As our prices are directly affected by the value of the U.S. Dollar on the world marketplace, we are forced to make periodic adjustments to our prices based upon the prevailing Currency Exchange Rate.
WE RESERVE THE RIGHT TO CORRECT ANY PRICING AND ANY OTHER ERRORS WITHOUT NOTICE.
If an items CORRECT price is lower than our stated price, we will charge the lower amount and ship you the item.
If an items CORRECT price is higher than our stated price, we will, at our discretion either contact you for instructions before shipping or cancel your order and notify you of such cancellation.
Some items are on our site are not in production yet and will be priced at $0.00 until GM releases the item along with current pricing. You may still order them, we will notify you once the item is released and give you current pricing.


NO MINIMUM ORDER REQUIREMENT
Whether your need is large or small, we welcome your request.


•BACK ORDERS
If an item is out of stock, you will be notified and the item back-ordered, unless you request otherwise. If you prefer, we can notify you when the item is again available.


•SHIPPING POLICY
Please allow 24-48 hours for order processing. (Most in stock orders ship same day). Non stocking and PDC 11 part orders will require additional processing time. Orders placed after business hours will be processed the next business day. Business hours are M - F 7am - 4pm CST.

For speed and economy we ship via UPS (United Parcel Service) or FedEx (Federal Express). Urgent orders can be shipped "3-Day Express", "2nd Day Air" or "Next Day Air" excluding Saturday delivery, upon request depending on the item. All shipments are insured and are shipped FOB our Grayslake, Illinois warehouse. Additional packing charges may apply on certain items.
Freight charges are for ONE way only.
Freight charges for core returns are the customers responsibility.

Freight charges for exchanges or returns must be pre-paid by customer unless pre arranged. CODs will NOT be accepted.

Outside USA
Shipping costs shown on your order do not include duties, taxes or other import fees assessed by governments outside the US. If such fees are due, you may be asked to pay them when your order is delivered. To avoid surprises, please contact your local customs office before placing an order to ask what charges may apply. We will be happy to assist you in gathering information but a final determination can only be made by local authorities.


•TERMS & CREDIT POLICY
Initial orders are sent only when Prepaid. For your convenience we accept Visa, MasterCard, and Discover Cards for domestic orders. Orders in excess of $7999.00 must be paid via bank wire transfer, cashiers, or certified check.Please allow 21 working days for check clearance.

Sorry but we are not able to accept non US funded credit cards. Credit cards with non US billing addresses will not be accepted.
All orders shipped out of the continental US must be paid via Bank Wire Transfer.
Orders generated from outside of the continental US are to be paid via electronic bank wire trasfer.


•GENERAL INFORMATION
All Illinois accounts must have a valid signed Resale Card on file. Sales tax will automatically be charged on Illinois accounts with no Resale Card on file. Illinois sales tax must be charged on all sales, samples, tools, etc.


•GUARANTEE & RETURN POLICY
If for any reason you are not completely satisfied with any of our products you may return the unused item in its original packaging within ten days for credit or refund. Please obtain a "Return Authorization Number" from our Customer Service Department before returning any merchandise. Please check all merchandise before using. Note that engines and transmissions are not returnable.

Shipping charges are not refundable unless the return is due to our mistake. If you decide you don't need a part, we don't mind taking it back but we can't recover the shipping cost.
Refunds typically take 1-2 weeks to be issued. Providing us with a return tracking number will ensure a faster refund. Refunds will be issued in the same form as you paid, (i.e. Credit card payments will receive credit to the same card used to place the order).


•CORE RETURN POLICY
Core charges will be refunded upon receipt and inspection of applicable parts. Cores must be returned in original packaging. Engine cores must be drained completely, repackaged, and replaced in the bag, secured in crate just as originally received. All cores are subject to inspection and may be subject to charge backs due to fractures etc. Freight charges for return cores are the sole responsibility of the customer.


•CUSTOMER SERVICE

•GM GOODWRENCH ENGINES
GM GOODWRENCH engines are covered by the GM GOODWRENCH engine warranty as outlined under
GM Goodwrench Warranty information. A GM GOODWRENCH warranty book which will be supplied with the engine. Please understand that these GOODWRENCH engines are intended as a direct replacement engines, and if not used in the application for which it was intended and designed for by GM, will void any and all warranties. Revisions and design changes sometimes require additional parts and or modifications to the vehicle or engine. CrateEngineDepot requires the vehicle identification number (VIN) and mileage to register and activate your warranty. Your original invoice will be required for any warranty claims. •GM PERFORMANCE ENGINES
These GM PERFORMANCE engines are covered by the GM PEFORMANCE warranty as outlined under Performance Parts Warranty information. Please understand that these GM PEFORMANCE engines are NOT direct replacements for your original equipment engine, and as such may require additional parts and or modifications to the engine and or vehicle to allow it to be used. They are intended for use in 1978 and earlier pre-emission street vehicles and any year off-road vehicles. They are not recommended for marine applications unless other wise noted.
