Chevrolet Performance’s ZZ632 takes the legendary Big-Block to all-new thresholds
of displacement performance. It’s the largest Big-Block we’ve ever built—and with an
incredible 1,004 horsepower and 876 lb.-ft. of torque on 93-octane pump gas, it’s also
the most powerful!
The ZZ632 starts with one of our tall-deck Sportsman Bowtie blocks as its
foundation, adds an all-forged roller assembly, a hydraulic roller camshaft and
all-new, high-flow spread-port cylinder heads derived from Pro Stock racing
technology. An EFI induction system provides the precise fuel control to enable
the crate engine’s stunning output with pump gas.
Our Deluxe package comes complete from the oil pan to the throttle body, as well as a
crank-trigger ignition system with coil-near-plug ignition coils mounted on a unique
valley plate, plug wires, water pump, balancer and an aluminum single-plane intake
manifold. The assembly also includes Chevy Orange valve covers with the “632” logo.

The ZZ632 includes a cast iron block, four-bolt main caps, a forged steel crankshaft and connecting rods, and forged aluminum pistons. The compression ratio is 12.0:1. Notably, the iron block shares a mold with the Chevrolet Performance ZZ572 crate engine, with the castings machined out to the impressive 632-cubic-inch (or 10.3-liter) displacement.
Bore is up 0.040 inch, while stroke was increased 0.375 inch. Both the block and connecting rods were modified to accommodate the extra-long stroke.

According to Chevrolet Performance, a single example of the ZZ632 endured over 200 simulated drag-racing passes on a dynamometer during development.

Height, 33 inches from bottom of the oil pan to the t-Body filter flange, or 24.5 inches from the oil pan rail/crank centerline to the T-Body filter flange. These are accurate numbers from the Math Data 3d Print.

The width at the widest point, valve cover rail to the oil dip stick tube is 29.1 inches, that also with the dipstick tube sticking out about 1.5 past the right side valve cover rail so without the dipstick tube hanging out there its closer to 28 inches wide at the shoulders.
