America's favorite big-block crate engine is now available fully assembled. All the same great parts used in the ZZ502 kit engines, but fully assembled for easier installation in your hot rod, street rod or sportsman racer. Available in two versions, base (P/N?12496963) and deluxe (P/N?12496962). The base engine is a fully assembled long block with valve covers and valvetrain. The deluxe is a complete engine from intake manifold to pan. Technical Notes:
Distributor P/N 1104067 or melonized distributor gearP/N 10456413 must be used on all crate engines with steel camshafts.
• The clutch linkage boss is cast in this block, but it is not drilled or tapped.
• When using cast iron exhaust manifolds the lower head bolt may need to be replaced with bolt with shorter heads.
• Requires electric fuel pump because the GenVI block has no mechanical fuel pump boss.
