9.26" semi-finished deck heights (standard deck) Can be machined safely to 9.22" deck heights (standard deck)
6-bolt LS7 billet main caps with std. 10mm LS7 fasteners Can be machined for aftermarket premium 11mm fasteners
3.990" bore, ready for honing Maximum 4.250" bore @.200" minimum wall thickness
6-bolt LSX bolt pattern Standard pattern for naturally aspirated applications
   11mm standard bolts Can be machined for 1/2" aftermarket head studs
    8mm exterior/interior bolts Modified 6-bolt pattern (for boosted applications)
All 5 cam bores for standard (small O.D.) bearings P/N 12453169 Can be machined to accept 60mm roller bearings
Added material around standard .842" lifter bores Can be machined for larger lifters and/or 1.060" bronze bushings
7th transmission bolt hole added (per Early SBC) Stud can be installed for applications where sanctioning body requires
Front motor plate mounting holes added For racing chassis applications (sprint car, drag racing, truck pulling, etc)
O-ringed screw-in soft plugs For external heater or coolers
Accommodates any LS small block oil pan or oil pump Standard LS wet sump systems, and LS7 dry sump systems fit
External oil pump feed @ rear of block Front oil feed lines can be plugged and external oil pump/aftermarket dry sump systems can be used.
